Closing all bugs?

I agree.
Note that the list of bugs is not just for developers but also for
users--there will be people using kde3 for a long time after kde4 is released
(for various reasons, the inertia of getting kde4 into distros, the inertia
of each user to updating his installation, maybe some hardware limitations,
etc.).
I'm quite certain there will continue to be new installations of kde3 after
kde4 is released. (Is kde in the OLPC? Which version?)
And, isn't one of the premises of open source software the idea that anybody
can fix a bug.
