There may be a problem with QProcess under FreeBSD;
http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdelibs/cmake/automoc/kde4automoc.cpp?r1=741589&r2=747023
kde4automoc sometimes (often) hangs in select() and never returns, although
that select() statement has a timeout.
It is hard to reproduce, it happens not everytime and (it seems) only if there
many files to be processed by kdeautomoc.
IOW KDE 4.0.0 shouldn't have build problems on FreeBSD.
