Broken KIO connections

On the other hand, creating a QTcpSocket, rather than a QSslSocket, in 
connectToHost does work.

I'm going to poke a bit more, but does anyone object to me committing 
the above hack to get a working tcp connection at the expense of ssl 
connections?
