I'm sorry, I did not mean to imply I can tell you how to implement 
mailody. I have no desire to do so against your wishes.

What I was trying to say is that you defend the idea for kdelibs which is 
something I have an issue with.  The patch is for kdelibs and I don't 
think we should accept it because of the issues I described in this 
thread.
