Nope, no objections. I'd prefer it since it simplifies. It removes one source 
of problems("Are you using builddir!=srcdir or builddir==srcdir?") and people 
doesn't have to spend time on patching svn:ignore. I think Dmitry gave some 
nice reasons as well.
