Settings for Language, fonts, colors, etc are something that one would expect 
to be delivered from the workspace you are running your app in, no?

OSX, XP/Vista, GNOME, XFCE, all those have something along the lines. Those 
who run TWM are used and happy to edit config files, so may they do the same 
for KDE apps :P
