What happens if you call:
set_target_properties(kdecore PROPERTIES VERSION 5.0.0 SOVERSION 10 ) 
?

Does it generate
libkdecore.so.10
libkdecore.so.5.0.0?

Or does it generate
libkdecore-5.0.0.so
libkdecore.so.10?
