But, more seriously, since I've had a problem with this since I got a dual 
head setup.  I start typing expecting to type into the application on top of 
one head, and it goes into the application on top (with the focus on the 
other head).

I'd like to find a way to deal with this without using the mouse.  The way 
I've found so far is rather cumbersome.  (Use <alt><tab> to cycle through all 
the open apps for the current desktop.)

Any suggestions?

What I'd like to have is a keyboard shortcut that toggles between the 
application on top on each head (and extendable to additional heads if I ever 
go that far).
