cmake and progress reporting

Can you try a new CVS update of CMake?   We think we may have fixed
the slow down problem.   Sorry for the trouble.  The slow down does
not show up in single processor machines.   The build time is unchanged
with CVS CMake and 2.4.2 with the machines here.
