This is imho the most annoying close-tab behaviour of the many available ones 
in KDE. I hate it when I have to wait two seconds when I already know exactly 
what I want.

If it was my choice, I'd say keep the behaviour in Konqueror and disable the 
delay in Akregator. Anyways, those two should behave similarly, no matter 
what the final decision for this issue will be.
