This is only about kdelibs. The developers in Trysil were basically the 
maintainers of kdelibs, so yes, the kdelibs development is chosen by the 
inner circle of kdelibs developers ;-)

And to repeat it: this is just about kdelibs.

When I tried to get a patch into the kernel, they were *very* picky, and I was 
able to live with that.
