One thing to keep in mind is that I believe the majority of developers
are waiting on the sidelines for ...something... (I'm not sure what
exactly, maybe the Tech Preview) to convince them that KDE4 is "ready"
for them to begin working on. The problem is things will not be ready
until people start working on it in earnest, and I'm not sure how to
convince them to start working on things now.

Perhaps devs with blogs can post more about how these days build
problems are rare, anything that compiles will usually run (albeit
with strange behavior), and the desktop even mostly runs now (albeit
with strange behavior).

I do believe that as things get more and more stable we will see more
and more people joining, but it would nice to find ways to inverse
that equation. :/
