I have no idea when Qt 4.3 will be released, but given current trends
(4.1.0 at the end of 2005; 4.2.0 in the 4th quarter of 2006), 4.3.0 will
probably show up around the third quarter of 2007. That's more or less a
full *year* from now.
Not to mention, of course, that as KDE 4 develops and more and more people
start to use it, more will we require from Qt. And more issues will we
find, which might prompt a longer release series for Qt 4.2.x. Or
shorter.
In any event, I don't think we should release KDE 4.0 in mid-2007. Early
2007 is already very late.
