Yes, this is a missing feature in KDevelop, but a feature that could be 
implemented for KDevelop4 as technically is not that hard. We already 
wrote a "quanta" language support for KDevelop which works without 
projects as well (in Quanta you can edit a file without having to 
create a project). So, let's improve KDevelop. :-)
