The patch looks ok to me. But for fairness: I am not active on the KDE 4 port, 
so decide for yourself whether you accept my judgment ;)

That I don't know. I guess Jarosław Staniek or Christian Ehrlicher can tell 
you. Or perhaps someone else who works on the Windows port.
