kreadconfig/kwriteconfig

Hi,

kdecore has these wonderful utilities (kreadconfig/kwriteconfig) that are 
just plain ignored in tutorials and online docs. There are zero 
references to these in docs.kde.org. Google shows up 203 for kreadconfig 
and 126 for kwriteconfig in lists.kde.org

Is there any specific reason for ignoring these nifty utils? Are these 
commands on the way out?
