If, like most lineedits, it has a popup menu with that which will be shown 
with the 'menu' key I think the non-blind will have excellent 
accessibility already.

I personally think that the screen readers and other associated software 
should be providing the clear functionality in a consistent manner for 
the accessible stuff.
But I guess we can't do that in house as long as there is no linux based 
Qt accessible interface, so not sure.
