KApplication shrinking

What about a simple call e.g. to
QFile::exists("filename.autosave")?

And maybe adding an "autosave" resource to KStandarDirs.

Or...use KSaveFile::xxxBackupFile functions. Maybe this class can be extended 
to check for an existing backup file.
