Please test: changes in how Qt4 is found

Or append <QT4_DIR>/pkgconfig to PKG_CONFIG_PATH?  Of course, that assumes
you know what QT4_DIR is.

BTW, does qt4 have anything like qt3's QTDIR?  (and QTINC/QTLIB)?
