Hello,

The current system is now able to compile the contents
of the following folders:
dcop
libltdl
kdefx
kdecore
mimetypes

Each module is now able to write its own config.h
files, and os-specific checks are done by importing
code split in folders (unix,osx,win32). The
installation of versioned libraries has been improved
(symlinks), and scons should provide a mechanism to
offer autotools-compatible command-line handling
(--option=value).

I am concentrating on the following areas at the
moment:
* prefixes and installation paths
* kobject in the module kde4.py

There is some documentation describing the framework
in the file kdelibs/bksys/design, have a look.

If you want to help and make kdelibs compile on a
particular platform, look at the scheme used in
bksys/lowlevel.py to load the detection from
bksys/unix/detect-lowlevel.py

Regards,
Thomas
