KGlobalSettings, ignore memory leaks?

While playing with kmtrace, I got a warning about not deallocated objects for 
pointers like

QFont* KGlobalSettings::_generalFont;

Could this be ignored? I thought we want to deallocate such objects, e.g. with 
KStaticDeleter?
