That's a little bit different as kdeaddons contains addons for a number 
of applications from all around KDE. In this case a third party 
application will be forced to depend on kdebase. Sure, the question 
about if this is good or not should be answered by the kdetv 
maintainer. I think that it is not good, especiallt for those wanting 
to run kdetv, but using a different DE as their main desktop.
So let's ask Dirk Ziegelmeier (kdetv maintainer) about if he is OK or 
not to depend on kdebase.
