SVN timing

Is it really a good idea to migrate if the howto isn't ready yet? I mean, 
KOffice has a feature freeze April 11, so I really want to spend as little 
time on this exercise as possible. Being preoccupied with more urgent things 
and not at all interested in the nicer points of svn and very accustomed to 
cvs I need a as simple a migration guide as possible. I need hand-holding...

(Not that I actually _want_ svn, I couldn't care less, so don't count me among 
the everyone who actually have a desire to see it. I'll just go with the flow 
as long as it doesn't interrupt the important things too much.)
