We had that before (check the archive). The property doesn't work because it has
to be an absolute path within subversion including protocol. So ssh users would have
to have https accounts just to commit there. And it would need to be redone on every
branching as otherwise it would stay on trunk/ - symlinks can be relative. Relative
externals are on TODO but not even expected for 1.2 afaik ;(
