KMDI namespaces

kmdi was forked and all modes but IDEAl were removed.
The "new" kmdi2 can be found in kdelibs/kmdi/kmdi, the old one is directly 
in kdelibs/kmdi.

The old one uses namespace Kmdi, and the new on KMDI (iirc).

Btw, there is a mailing list kmdi-devel at kde.org.
