not only is it too complicated but there are other ways to get at your apps
that are more efficient and are well known: the aplications (a.k.a. 'k')
menu. i don't think people have trouble getting to their apps, so i'm not
sure if we should be trying to solve this problem that doesn't really exist.
besides, the rest of the entries are about data (or files) right? this seems
kind of out of band given the rest of the entries... "one of these things is
not like the others..."
