I thought we had fixed workarea problems, and that the new reason for the bug was
that lineupIcons isn't idempotent, i.e. any time lineupIcons is called, icons move (e.g. up)
instead of staying in place when they are grid-aligned already.

This used to be more visible when "line up icons" was a menuitem in itself, then you
could simply click it 3 times and see the icons move every time. Nowadays it's 
called automatically when "auto-lineup" is activated and something else happens - like
a workarea change -, so the bug is a bit more tricky to understand.

Add (if not already there) a lineupIcons DCOP call, and you should see that the bug
is mostly due to the lineupIcons algorithm (whose original author dropped out of KDE...)
Thanks a lot if you (Martin) can have a look at it; otherwise it's on my list, i.e.
I should have time to look at it around 2008.
