Private shared libraries

Hi,

 Is it "allowed" to install a shared library into $KDEDIR/lib that is 
used by different KParts, but there is no header file installed for 
that library? We don't really want to link statically many KParts to 
the same library, but don't want to deal with BIC issues as well. Is 
there some policy regarding this?
 BTW, the KParts are KDevelop plugins that would share some code.
