See qt4-preview-feedback for the miscompilation which makes gcc-3.4.x-w/visibility
miscompile QtCode, leading to most Qt4-beta2 programs not even starting up. 
Qt4-rc1 works around it by disabling -fvisibility for gcc-3.4.x.
