Hi,

I just checked out arts/1.5 and wanted to build it, but make -f Makefile.cvs
fails with:
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.

make: *** [all] Error 2

What does it mean and how can I solve it ?

Some operating systems are called 'user friendly',
             Linux however is 'expert friendly'.
