Perhaps somewhat offtopic, but the only thing that irritates me about kmail's 
quicksearch is that that the lineedit tends to block while the message list 
is searching/sorting stuff. It makes typing jerky and editing a bit difficult 
(admittedly, this is more of a problem for typo-happy sausage-fingered people 
like me...)
