I must admit that I checked onl against my stable KDE and didn't switch on
my Notebook for the Alpha^WBeta :)

I'm actually still not sure wether I like that status-via-shades invented by
the Mozilla guys (I guess). Is it configurable so that it works together
with different color schemes or is it simply the shadow color which is
used? (The latter would not very intuitive I guess.) I'd still prefer an
explicit status icon in the status bar but for the current topic, if the
shadowing works out, there is probably no reason to keep the Security
button.
