Something in that direction sounds reasonable to me too. It should be combined 
with switching kcontrol/access to kcontrol/accessibility, which currently 
isn't compiled. It's a Designerfied version, done by Pupeno but currently 
without maintainer, IIRC. It needs to be KConfigXT-fied, think I have 
something like that locally.

But as George says, that does nothing for the current situation. And I don't 
think that matters. Once you start looking in KControl you'll find so much 
broken stuff your eyes start to bleed. One or more module broken or not ~ the 
same end result. I don't people use the massiveness in KControl, and with 
such an assumption it becomes amusing how much we argue for power, 
flexibility etc.

(and stop quoting that TODO file as it's an authority! It's just 
brainstorming..	)
