I don't like the whole document. So I suggest to remove it, put a link 
on developers.kde.org to Adriaans mail with the three-line summary and 
then stop wasting time with useless discussions, but resume coding 
something useful.

If you want to do something with XML, what about working on a way to 
generate KDE bindings to web services from WSDL definitions? That would 
be a killer. If you would do something like that I might even stop 
complaining about your XML policy documents ;-)
