as the switch to SVN is something that will likely stay with the project for
5+ years, and as in that time most of our developers will be new to the
project anyways (e.g. won't know the "old" structure), if the gains are
noticeable it's probably a worthwhile investment.
as long as the new structure was well documented (e.g. on developer.kde.org),
i'd personally be fine with enduring a month or two of discomfort due to
things not being where i'm used to if that meant the repository would be
easier to use going forward.
