2 SVG thumbnail creators ?

Checking http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96166
(the View->preview menu in konqi shows 2 times "Scalabel Vector Graphics")
I found that there are 2 .desktop files which define the same:

kdebase/kioslave/thumbnail/picturethumbnail.desktop
kdegraphics/ksvg/plugin/svgthumbnail.desktop

Isn't it enough to have 1 ?
Can't 1 of these be removed from CVS ?
What's the best solution ?
