messed up layout behaviour in kicker

    another, the icons suddenly change to 'small' size

 2) when you have the kicker panel on the right border of the screen and
    click the K-button, the menu will appear the first time at the left

The first bug must be introduced during the last two weeks, the
second one exists maybe a bit longer.
