No, having a .applyed-patches-qt file is ok, but it should be in qt-copy
at least, so when replacing this folder you can be sure that a new
checkout will work.

Furthermore when you do a 'svn -R revert qt-copy/' before calling
apply_patches again, there shouldn't be any patch applyed twice...
