Backport KSpell2 fixes?

Hi all,

I commited two fixes to KSpell2. They are reported at BR#104130 and BR#87250.
Commits were OK'ed by Zack. If they break something, please revert.

Shell I commit them to KDE_3_4_BRANCH too?
