KDM background image loading

Hi,

 Since I updated form CVS yesterday KDM has problems to show the 
background image (Konqui.jpg).  It takes 30 seconds to load the image 
on an Athlon XP 2000+. I saw that after starting KDM the following 
processes run:
- kbuildsycoca
- kded
- kconf_update (this takes a lot of time to finish)
- khotkeys_update
- krootimage

Only after krootimage finishes the image appears. It is possible to log 
in also before the background image is loaded.

Does anybody see the same problem or know the reason of it?
