Only because I didn't have the time to port the old KExtendedSocket class to 
the new interface. If I had, then all apps would crash.

But if I had, then the bug would have been noticed sooner.

As it is, we've released KDE 3.3.0 that doesn't run with gcc 2.95/Linux.
