Yes, the open-sourced code seems to be about speech recognition only.
kttsd is about speech synthesis. Of course it would be nice to integrate
speech recognition into KHotkeys, or even to enhance kde-accessibility
with a dictation application. But we have to see how useful the donated
code can be for a multi-purpose project like KDE.
Anyway, it looks as if IBM is serious about making Linux accessibility
work. I think we can expect more from them in the next months.
