we could take a screenshot of the contents of the systray, but that doesn't
work well for hidden icons. it also looks horrible when you have a background
or transparency turned on. look at what systrayv2 looks like doing this (e.g.
not so great).
it also doesn't work out so well if the systray "icon" is larger than your
typical icon, which does happen (i have the BR's to prove it ;)
the best thing is for the entries that don't have an icon to provide one. you
don't need a main window AFAIK, just set the icon for the systray icon
"window".
