Is it an alternative to:
* Pick a sensible default, instead of making it configurable?
or
* Centralize the two options into one, located in perhaps "Appearance &
Themes/Icons/Advanced"?
We should try to make the software do the decisions, instead of delegating
them to the users.
I wonder when it is of interest to have the icon text cropped. If the user
have deliberately entered long texts, does he/she then wants to see long
texts? Perhaps such a reasoning should be combined with an upper limit, such
that _really_ long texts, such as auto generated files, doesn't break.
What would happen if the default was changed to, say, five lines? Perhaps
those who need the option would be pleased with the default, and those who
have short icon texts wouldn't notice.
