I doubt that there are many developers (outside Kopete realm) who know about 
the line separator existance at all. It is mentioned in the appendix of an
ancient xmlui tutorial on developers.kde.org but not documented in API docu.

Sounds like a style change, or is it only me who thought that at first? :-)
