CVS-Ignoring during update (was: A little script searching for a home)

Hi all,

while I am at checkout to let our server do the tarballs, I am thinking of 
possibilities to reduce space. For example: I don't need any of the *.cpp *.h 
*.ui files. I tried to add them to my local ~/.cvsignore but cvs isn't 
ignoring them on update...

Are there any possibilities to do this?
