The following patch adjusts the timing of the clear() signal a bit so that it 
gets emitted *before* the actual clearing happens. This is based on the same 
rationale as used for emitDeleteItems (kdirlister.cpp:665)
    // Tell the views about it before deleting the KFileItems. They might need 
the subdirs'
    // file items (see the dirtree).

This fixes BR74946, please review.
