Hi,

 I forward this to the core-devel, as Ingo thinks the bug might be in
KIO::get(). Any idea?

 We load the file with KIO::get(). I can't reproduce the problem with
 SuSE 8.2, KDE 3_2, kdepim HEAD inserting a file from cdrom (I don't
 have a floppy drive).

 That would be a bug in KIO::get().
