Automake/Autoconf versions

G'day all,

I just did some testing with automake 1.6.3 and autoconf 2.52, and am having 
problems with making kdelibs compile. It works fine with automake 1.7.6 and 
autoconf 2.57.

http://developer.kde.org/build/compile_cvs.html says it should work with 
"Automake 1.5 or 1.6 and Autoconf 2.52, 2.53 or 2.54".

Before I go further into it, is the expectation that we make kdelibs work with 
those versions, or do we update the docs to reflect a known working version 
set?
