fuzzy systray icons (klipper, knotes etc)

Klipper, knotes and probably others have fuzzy icons in the systray.
They don't load the 22x22 icon (try deleteing all klipper.png icons
except 22x22) but instead load the 16x16 or 32x32 and resize.

Klipper uses  KSystemTray::loadIcon() to get it's icon and looking at
the source of ksystemtray.cpp that should return a 22x22 icon but it
doesn't seem to be doing so.

Any ideas?
